Honoring the legacy and character of our nation’s 40th President, the GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program rewards college-bound students who demonstrate exemplary leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship with financial assistance to pursue higher education.
Each year, the Program selects a number of recipients to receive a $10,000 scholarship, renewable for up to three years – a total of $40,000 per recipient.
The awards are for undergraduate studies and may be used for educational expenses such as tuition, fees, books, supplies, room and board.
The GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program has awarded $7.4 million in scholarships to 185 diverse student leaders across the country since 2011. Recipients come from 40 different states and 110 different colleges.
Scholars are also invited to participate in a special awards program and receive ongoing leadership development assistance.

Scholarship America, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals, administers this program.
Individual program eligibility is determined solely at the discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
Race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, gender, disability, or national origin are not considered in awarding.
GE Reagan Scholarship Eligibility
Candidates for GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarships must:
- Show leadership, integrity, drive, and citizenship qualities at work, in school, and in your community.
- Strong academic performance must be demonstrated (minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale or equivalent).
- Be United States of America citizens.
- be current high school seniors who will graduate in the winter or spring of 2022 from a high school in the United States or one of its territories or commonwealths. Candidates who attend high school abroad while residing on a base of the United States military are qualified.
- Plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate program for the entire academic year 2023–2024 at a four-year institution in the United States that is accredited.
