Glenmore Medical Postgraduate Scholarship

Applications are open for the Glenmore Medical Postgraduate Scholarship for master’s study in eligible Human Medical Programmes.

 

The medical scholarships which will be awarded to applicants who are accepted for admission in the 2022-2023 academic year will cover full tuition fees for the duration of the programme of study at the University.

The University of Edinburgh has initiated Glenmore Medical Online Postgraduate Scholarship 2021-22 are available for eligible online postgraduate Masters programmes offered for the 2021-2022 academic session. The scholarships will be awarded to applicants who are accepted for admission in the 2021-2022 academic year on one of the listed eligible Human Medical programmes. The Glenmore Medical Online Postgraduate Scholarship would particularly welcome applications from students from Africa.

Glenmore Medical Postgraduate Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

 

To be considered for the Glenmore Postgraduate Scholarship 2022, applicants are to meet the following criteria:

 

  • Applicants must be admitted to study one of the eligible Human Medical Programmes at the University of Edinburgh.

 

  • Applicants must be currently domiciled in one of the eligible countries as derived from the DAC list of ODA recipients.

 

  • Applicants must demonstrate excellent academic and research abilities as scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit.

 

  • Applicants must have obtained a relevant bachelor’s degree programme from a recognized institution of higher learning.

Selection Criteria

 

The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and the strength of a personal statement.  

 

Candidates must have, or expect to obtain, the overseas equivalent of a UK first-class honours degree. 

 

Candidates are encouraged to address the following questions in their personal statement (3500 characters maximum):

Eligible applicants should complete an online scholarship application.

 

The scholarship deadline is 23:59 GMT 2nd June 2023.
