Uppsala University Global Scholarships

Uppsala University Global Scholarship will award several scholarships for fee-paying students applying for Master’s programmes commencing in the autumn of 2023.  One of these scholarship programs is the Uppsala University Global Scholarships, formerly known as Uppsala IPK Scholarships.

 

Overview Of The Uppsala University Global Scholarships

Uppsala University Scholarship 2023-2024 is a tuition fee scholarship for international students. These scholarships are available for masters studies in any subject and covers the full cost of tuition fees for studies at Uppsala University.

 

Uppsala University Global Scholarships are open for international students to pursue their masters degree in Sweden. A number of scholarships are available for fee-paying international students who apply to an international Bachelor’s or Master’s program each year.

Uppsala University Global Scholarships Eligibility Criteria

 

• You must be a citizen of a country outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland.

 

• You must demonstrate academic talent and show interest in being in an educational environment.

 

• You can only be awarded an Uppsala University Global Scholarship for a Master’s programme at Uppsala University chosen as first priority (the programme which you have ranked the highest of the four programmes you can choose at University Admissions).

 

• You must have applied for the Master’s programme before the University Admissions deadline.

 

• You must meet the entry requirements for the Master’s programme you applied for. The application fee and your complete supporting documents must be received by University Admissions before the deadline.

 

Application Process

 

• The application period for scholarships provided by Uppsala University for prospective students is from 16 January to 1 February 2021.

 

• The deadline is 23:59 CET (Central European Time) 1 February 2021. Please consider the time zone. Applications received after the deadline will not be processed.

 

• In order to be considered for a scholarship, you must first submit an application for a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme at Uppsala University on universityadmissions.se between 16 October 2020 and 15 January 2021.

 

• The programme at Uppsala University must be ranked as your first priority of choice. The scholarship application period starts after this step.

 

Supporting Documents: To complete an admissions application, applicants must provide the following documentation:

 

• Record of completed upper secondary (high school) education

 

• A copy of the page in the passport with the personal data and photograph or a similar identification document.

 

• Note: Documents issued in English, French, Spanish, German, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, and Finnish do not need to be translated.

 

• For the application to be processed, applicants must provide documentation of their previous studies and English language skills.

 

• University Admissions must receive the application fee and the complete supporting documents before the deadline.

 

• Admission Requirements: Applicants must meet the entry requirements for the program they applied to.

 

• Program-specific entry requirements for each Master’s program are found under the section “Admissions” on each program page.

 

• Language Requirement: Sufficient knowledge of written and spoken English.

 

• To be eligible for university studies in Sweden, applicants must show that they meet the English requirements for the course or program.

 

Application Deadline

 

January 17, 2023, for admissions 

 

February 1, 2023, for the scholarship.
